I hope that everyone will join in on our new wiki. Please feel free to post to it at any time. I have created this as a place where we can share ideas, announce events and express ourselves. Anyone, including support staff are invited to post their own articles and respond to others. Hopefully everyone will become involved as this will be a great way for us to communicate our successes and concerns. I know that our time is precious, but if we can get this going I think you will find it fun and informative.
I just learned that there is a way to subscribe to an RSS feed for McAlester's "McBook" blog.
Add the following feed to your reader:

12/27/2007 Here's the BWI Playaway contact info: Bobby Decker @ 800-888-4478. Once you have your username and password go to this link to order: http://bwibooks.com/
10/17/2007 Chris sent me a link to a video about wikis that is is only a few minutes long, but gives you an idea how fast and easy it is to use. --CT

10/22/2007 Similarly, here is a short video called "RSS in plain English". RSS is a way of subscribing to your favorite websites, blogs and wikis (including this one!) so you are notified with a direct link whenever something new is posted to them. There will be a brief talk about RSS at our Inservice Day in November. -- LW

10/25/2007 I love those "In Plain English" videos I just watched the RSS one but what I would like to know is how to get an RSS feeder on your webpage so patrons could subscribe. That way when we add a new database or new teen link our RSS sbscribers could see right away. I have also been busy looking at Databases and have found quite a few interesting ones. I am going to try attaching the information for everyone to look at. Chris S.

11/26/2007 I found a YouTube video that compares "Message Boards", "Blogs", and "Wikis".
